Karen Lee is originally from Denver, CO. by way of Los Angeles, San Diego, Charlotte, Port Arthur and now Phoenix. She is a former housewife with hobbies. She used her sense of humor to take the edge off a difficult childhood. She learned to write and perform standup comedy and was the 1990 Round Table Newsletter for aspiring comedy writers Woman of the Year. She wrote free lance jokes for comedians such as Joan Rivers, including the winner of the Late Show Joan Rivers Look Alike Contest. From September 1989 to February of 1996 she published the ground breaking Laughter Prescription Newsletter dedicated to the healing power of humor. In 1993 she was invited to speak as part of the prestigious "Compassion and the Art of Medicine" series at Baylor College of Medicine. Lee was also interviewed on CNN on the topic of "Belly Laughs Good for the Bottom Line"
Throughout her life Lee learned various coping tools to assist herself and others move through negativity. She is a certified hypnotherapist. In 1997 she became attuned (trained) to reiki and continued to the Master level in 2003. Lee brings her expertise to the Valley of the Sun combining powerful techniques such as EFT-Emotional Freedom Techniques and gentle intuitively guided body work that helps to make you unstoppable in your pursuit of excellence.
